Under the eKranti- Electronic delivery of services, National Centre for e-Governance Standards and Technology has been set up by STQC, Standardization, Testing and Quality Certification as a Centre for formulation of standards under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Under this initiative, eGovernance service Maturity model has been formulated.

Maturity models are used to assess as-is situations (to diagnose and eliminate deficient capabilities), to guide improvement initiatives (to map the way for improvement) and to control progress. The development in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has made it possible for citizens to interact with the government remotely without physically visiting any government office in most of the cases and avail the e-Governance services in a convenient manner. In the context of Electronic Service Delivery – “e-Governance is about the making use of ICT in systems of governance for a wider participation and a deeper involvement of citizens, institutions, civil society groups and the private sector in the decision making process of governance.”

Over the years, the central and state governments have adopted various measures to improve the quality of services delivered to the citizens and have tried to reach different sections of the society to improve the social and economic status of the masses.
This Maturity Model caters to the requirements of e-Governance services strictly in the Indian context. The fundamental goal is to keep the criteria as objective as possible and which is not entirely based on the subjective assessment. An authentic mechanism for ensuring a rational and objective assessment of these services has been dealt with in this model. The model proposes to conduct two kinds of assessments one by the Government Ministry/Department and other by the beneficiary.

The draft specifications are now put up for public consultation till 17th March, 2017.

Governemtn should not allow private companies to hold employee's Provident fund amount, government should be in custody of the same. This has resulted in Provident funds being misused by companies

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी इलेक्शन में एक सबसे बड़ी समस्या यह है कि जो लोग अपने घर से बाहर नौकरी करते हैं वो वोट डालने नहीं पहुच पाते हैं क्योंकि हर जगह वोट अलग अलग पड़ते हैं। मेरा सुझाव है कि कोई ऐसा ब्लॉग या वेबसाइट बनाई जाय जिससे की हर आदमी ऑनलाइन वोटिंग कर सके। इससे लगभग 98% वोटिंग होगी।

Hon. PM has great vision effort to make all the govt. services e.governance, digital India project are very important for e. governance, I want to suggest that, there are some improvement required, e.i. speed, capacity of storage with equal speed of processing, most important is updation of data is very important, furhter, it should be it accessible to the person who require date from e.portal, further, appropriate control lime OTP etc. should be kept for data control, etc., best wishes

sir, for betterment of digital india,first you have to improve quality of government sites such provident fund, UAN meember portal is not working since last 2 months,we citizens facing lots of problems,nobody is there who can solve these issues, helpline number are just for contact information. we love your initiative towards digital india but for achieving this goal we hv to improve our government departments online portal lots lots of. our PM zindabad

Dear Sir, What i am going to talk , the topic is different but i just want to know is there any limitation is made against dowry , because still it is very popular and public is facing now days so , what should i do against this as girl whose family suffering with this problem.
