Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

SIR, IT IS 4 THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE . IGNORING OPPOSITION FROM COASTAL STATES AND FISHERMEN’S ASSOCIATIONS, THE GOI HAS OPENED UP DEEP SEA FISHING IN INDIA’S EXCLUSIVE WATERS TO MNCs. DEPT OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, HAS RECENTLY INVTD APPLCTIONS FROM DEEP SEA FISHING VESSELS (EXISTING AS WELL AS THOSE TO BE ACQUIRED SOON). IT IS EXTREMELY PAINFUL THAT NOW EVEN ROJI-ROTI OF POOR FISHERMAN IS NOT SAFE OSTENSIBLY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF LOBBYING OF VESTED INTEREST.

Please stop aadhar propaganda. You want to tell the Supreme Court that many have enrolled and it is popular. Actually Aadhar is not popular but people are coerced by duubious means to enrol. Stop Aadhar. Bring in a purely government card without any private participation. Confirm that equipments do not transmit data to outside agencies.
