Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

Sir, I would like to propose that a person who pays VAT/Service tax must be able to track how much money he has paid during a year. This would help the person identify people who provide bogus bills.We pay service tax at restaurants,food joints,cabs but we do not know if the money is really reaching the government. Something like form 26AS for IT must be available for service tax as well. It must be linked to PAN. If payment is made via card, then automatically it should be linked. Regards, M

every mob should be verified with adhaar no.and it will linked with every transaction and trade and database of a person.

The government wants to undertake seeding of mobile SIMs with Aadhaar numbers to deal with misuse of technology for diversion of subsidies, various criminal acts including terrorism and extortion as well as for making financial transactions on mobile more fool proof and robust.

The union government under its ambitious 'Digital India' programme has decided to use the Aadhaar number as a "digital identity" for the purpose of mobile banking.

sir, bit freighted to see the India TV opinion poll last night. Corruption, Corruption is more important than Vikas , upon which the gov even did not think of for the last eight month. The people of Delhi especially lower class and slum areas are fed of Police and Administrative rampant corruption .The corruption in MCD is known to everyone. The nod of Anna on the Gov is also bad omen. The Gov has still time to talk to Anna. Any statement from Anna will change the complete scenario.
