All subsidies should be examined as part of Zero Based budgeting. Any subsidy which is not for essential items such as food, clothing, shelter & education should be done away with. For example, at all places of tourist interest, the revenue collection should exceed the expenditure required to maintain the historical places. They should in fact generate positive revenue for local area development.

we should buy eurofighter typhoon with tranfer of technology norms. eurofighter is one of the most advance fighter and is far more superior then its french counterpart. also the recent planning of buying adfvance stealth submarine- the deal should be made to german hdw dolphin class 2 sub marine.Regarding the finalising of multi calibre assualt rifle i think galil ace will be a better choice its a proven combat system due to its ruggedness.but indigenous mciws should be included along with ecalibur assualt rifle

Government Salary bill has to come down. Government offices are plagues with low productive staff, peons, etc which private corporate houses have done away with. In similar vein, Salary / hiring freezes should be put to ensure that these departments do not fritter away all collected taxes on paying salaries. A benchmark should be created for this.

Coal Blocks : Instead of auctioning the Coal Blocks, I think states should facilitate the local people to develop these mines by forming societies in that area and further tie-up the sale of coal production of that particular mine to some local consumer at a fix price. It will help to create new employment oppotunities and minimize the Government spending on social security schemes as people will come out of the income brackets meant for these social schemes.

SUGGESTION REG.INNOVATION IN EDUCATION SYSTEM. WE CAN CENTRALIZED THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IN INDIA. 1) FREE EDUCATION THROUGH SATELLITE CAN BE PROVIDED TO THE STUDENTS AT SINGLE POINT OF TIME THROUGHOUT INDIA. 2) eg. IF THE CENTER IS DELHI THAN ALL THE CLASSES OF GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS OF ALL THE STATES OF INDIA FROM NURSERY TO 12TH CAN BE CONNECTED LIVE FROM DELHI AT THE SAME TIME. 3) THESE PROGRAM SHOULD BE DESIGNED AS PER THE BEST INDIAN & INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS STRICTLY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE. 3)

Meeting Expenditures: Use the tons of gold stashed away in temples. India currently holds around 20,000 tons of gold! A small portion (3%) of this gold is held by RBI. The rest is held by individuals, and by Indian temples, e.g., only in Sri Padmanabhaswamy (Kerala) and Tirupati - there is estimated gold valued at 150000 crore rupees. The government can make the Temple Trusts to use this temple gold for various Welfare Schemes (Hospitals, Schools) for poor, Girl Children, Old age people etc..

User services like Toll charges collection should be CCTV monitored RFID operated, to improve the yield. Movement of State owned food grains should be only in GPS equipped vehicles, to ensure delivery to needy people and no theft. RAILWAY & BUS tickets in metropolitan cities should be prepaid cards with deduction for service availed, as in DMRC.
