In August 2013,at Tolstoy Road Janpath crossing, right in front of two police check posts,my wife's chain was snatched and my wife and daughter chased. Seeing the fate of this little girl, should I thank the snatcher or destiny that my wife and daughter could not catch up. The police at the picket, who told he was watching the snatching, asked my wife'mujhe kya karna hai'? On 8th Feb 2015,when I was walking on Mandir Marg, a moble snatcher injured all my face. Where is security for anyone

India has got less than 1 % of tourist share of the whole world..less than thailand, malaysia, and many small countries. Main reason being connectivity of major tourist destination from big cities like from delhi, mumbai, kolkata etc and secondly beggar problem is a major issue. Make tourist police to understand english and remove the beggars and hawkers from this sites will make popular destination tourist friendly

Maharastra is famous for its Forts, but many of forts are on the verge of collapsing. My suggestion is to identify some Historical forts of Shivaji Maharaj like Pratapgarh, Raigarh etc where sound show can be developed. Like at Pratapgarh fort by means of Light and Sound show the moments of Afzal khan and Shivaji maharaj can be showcased. Also light show can be developed for showcasing Shivaji Maharaj and Sambhaji escape in Sweet box. This will motivate tourist to see the forts of maharastra.

Konkan is one of the best tourism location in Maharashtra. The major mode of travel is by road. Majority of roads are in very bad shape and travel efficiency gets dropped down to 20% (10 km to 15 km / hr) as compared to good road travel (60 km / hr) as average. No road signs are available at junction places, no sign boards, no mile stones, and speed breakers (without warning signs) amidst the roads of pot holes. We sincerely feel that these key factors may be addressed for tourism improvement.

There must be open double decker sightseeing buses in all popular tourist friendly destinations. Moreover there must be Tourist Information Centre and Souvenir shops located all around the city.

Following things can do some good to pilgrim places-1.Deploy VISIBLE AND ACTIVE TOURIST POLICE personnel to check touts,self-appointed guides, beggars, thieves and road romeos2.Standardize rates-especially services like auto n taxi, also material goods need to have a fixed price tag3.South Indian practice of buying tickets at temples isn't bad.Temples really look cleaner,well-maintained n well-managed;many hv toilets on premises4.Paint old temples in classy BLACK,not in n shades of gaudy oil paint.

Law is beneficial if it is implemented properly. Mind set of the public can be changed only if there would be a provision of social punishment. If a car driver is challaned or fined by police he can easily escape by giving bribe or sending someone to court for his challan clearance. Then he would try to fulfill his loss(money for fine) in other ways but if he is sentenced to clean public place for a week 1 hour daily or serving olds at old age home then it would make difference in the society.

Hello!! As we know that our country has lots of places for tourism then other countries but tourist mainly faces the problem of dirtiness. As the surroundings of tourist place are very dirty. So i think we have to give impotance to tourists places and make them clean and green.
