The role of institutions of higher education in societal development is becoming increasing significant. In recent years, higher education has isolated itself from the society and there is a need to re-establish and strengthen higher education’s close linkages with the society. How can Universities foster social responsibility and engage in community outreach programmes. Sharing some working examples would also be a useful input.

All government institution should provide total FREE EDUCATION at school & College. So brilliant poor student don't have any problem to continue their study. Government should provide 100 % subsidy to this Institution. & admission to all this Institution should be done on 100 % Merit basis Such as Govt Medical College shall provide total free education & student can be bonded to serve minimum 3 years service to the government department This will be helpful to provide cheap medical service.

well the social sciences have faced a backlash in the times to modernise the world. its from the western and eastern countries ,that we should learn to build a strong nation a large amount of social science research is needed

Reorient the institutions of higher learning as development engines for the respective districts in which they are located. Make them accountable. All disciplines can together work for a holistic development of the district.

YOUTH FOR NATION BUILDING:1.All citizens between age group 26 to 40 will get a 5 year government job after registration for job .After 7 yearwaiting if any student not provided any job and he is unemployed then he get RS 15000 per month for 5 years the only condition is that he has to complete 12 year education.before registration.For this purpose central and state adopt a common policy.

NEW EDUCATION POLICY:6.All the practical exams of the private students will be completed in vacations.7.This policy will be linked to job creation and politics.7.No student below 26 years of age get any govt job and he not contest any election before completing 26 years.

NEW EDUCATION POLICY:5.ONLY passing marks will be declared only for health related courses all other courses will be as per their own marks progress to higher class will be allowed.6.The passing certificate after a 4 year degree or 3 year degree will give full description of marks he scored in each year and will read that the student have attended exam as regular/private and completed degree course with given marks.Passing and failing imaterial.

NEW EDUCATION POLICY:the annual marks students get through annual exam includingboard exam will be displayed in each student marksheet ie if a student score 10 then his marksheet will be showing 10 marks in english but student allowed to go to higher class.4.All students as per their choice allowed to get admission to standard XI.The colleges allowed to enroll students as regular and private as per their intake.The same method will be used for enrolling students for engineering as well as med

NEW EDUCATION POLICY:1.Add pre primary education ie LKG and UKG to our primary education systeme 2.Add observation skill and interview as two new subjects of 100 marks each for standard LKG to XII .Interview will be taken by parent 3 member group so that marks will be allowted immediately.Interview will be attended with parent of the student compulsorily.3.PL provide back bench for parent to sit in a live class.4. Education system in India should teach kids practical application in the field chosen instead of just memorizing theory. They should be taught interpersonal skills, group dynamics, customer service and all other marketable skills. The courses should also include community service and building partnerships. Every kid should consider mandatory sports. Sports should be encouraged in every school and college.

For every student studying in final year of higher education should be given a project(related to their field) on what change they can make for their society or nation but it should be not only a chart paper project
