Sustainable Clean Drinking Water Project: Till today, Nagaland does not have a single successful water pump project. The government needs to re-start the Dzukou project which could not take off because of disputes between 2 villages. If this is addressed, Kohima can have access to pure clean safe water simply by gravity.

Ease traffic congestion: Construct a new road from High School junction (BRTF Camp) towards south west connecting Kohima Village VDB Road ( Kohima Ring Road). This will enable commuters from New Kohima to travel to Dimapur without entering the main Kohima town.

1. A well organized collection and dumping of wastes. 2. Compulsion of commercial buildings to use their ground floors as parking space or create an underground parking space. 3. The government quarters of the employees whose office is located towards the New Secctt area should be shifted there. We can make use of the urban housing which seem vacant. That way, the traffic congestion during the office hours can be reduced and the employees can also make it to the office on time.

Smart & Efficient use of existing space : To construct an underground passage measuring around 40 feet wide each connecting South and North Gate of Kohima Local Ground. 20 feet can be used for traffic, while on 10 feet of both sides, shops can be constructed. Concealing the passage can be done like rcc slab and the local ground can continue to exist as it is. The empty spaces towards UBC can be utilised as underground parking.
