1.proper maintenance of drainage (also some law to make sure that land owner should at least spare part of their land for drains to pass by)
2. Proper collection n disposal of garbage
3. Solution for water scarcity
4. Maintenance of district/some colony roads n proper utilization of it i.e it can be used for daily traffic which will help in congestion in Main town(that means after maintenance changes in traffic rules) .but if there is funds to spare for new roads... the better.

6- For electricity problems we must all look up at the sun & exploit the warmth that it gives off. Solar energy is the future & we can make the future come early by harnessing & using solar energy.

5-For water woes, the state can build mini-dams or reservoirs on the river banks which will channel water to the city & it can be treated first & then supplied via systematic & well laid out pipelines.Fog collection can also be adopted & also efficient water harvesting techniques should be advocated & must be adopted by each household. The said mini dams/reservoirs can also be mutually used to generate electricity at a small yet substantial level.

3-The present kohima local ground's space can be used to build a huge mutli level parking complex & a new state-of-the-art local ground should be built, far away from the hustle & bustle of the city which will inturn tap the huge talent potential of the state.
4-The traffic system should also be automated & digitised with traffic lights, cctvs, etc. making it more efficient thus requiring less man force.
