Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. Trauma Unit Centre should be established for seriously injured patients. Special Burn Care hospital with all modern equipment and specialized doctors should be established in Kalyan city so no such patient is need to be transferred out of city.

For senior citizens of Kalyan Dombivli city Jeshtha Nagrik Virangula Kendra should be established in which there should be relaxing and entertaining programmes and games ( newspaper corner, books,carrom, chess,etc.) should be made available.

कल्‍याण डोंबिवली शहरामध्‍ये जास्‍तीत जास्‍त स्‍वच्‍छता ठेवण्‍यात यावी. तसेच शहरात रस्‍त्‍याच्‍या बाजूला झाडे लावण्‍यात यावी.

1.proper traffic norms to be followed 2.Cleanliness should be maintained both indoors as well as outdoors. 3.Congestion and traffic blockages should be reduced. 4.More trees to be planted. 5.pollution should be reduced

Any citizens should get information at a glance from KDMC by paying appropriate charges about the genunineness/status of authorization in all respect of construction of buildings before purchase of flat/land.
