To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until June 22, 2023.

Respected Honourable PM sir, I request you that please accept my views about enrich the curriculum of higher education. Evaluation of education have three wings they're 1.Aims,objectives&specifications of education, these are designed by philosophy. philosophy is involved in framing curriculum& syllabus. 2.pedagogical&learning experiences are influenced by educational psychology.Teaching&learning methods are influenced by psychology. 3.Evaluation tools are framing on the basis of blueprint &the principles of valuation are validity, objectivity&identity the micro differences in learning progress of students. 4.effective evaluation is measure the learning outcome of students &implementation of teaching methods, in this connection I suggest objective type of tests& examinations are measure accurately. 5.objective type of tests and examinations are suitable assessment of summative&formative evaluation. both formative &summative evaluation is suitable for qualitative higher education.

The process of accreditation should include evaluation of the process followed by the educational institution in respect of the admission of students. The quality of evaluation of merit at the stage of admission goes a long way towards the ultimate success of the whole effort put in by the institution to provide the infrastructure, the faculty, the curriculum and the overall administration to create proper educational ambience for the students. Another aspect that needs to be looked into is the compliance record in respect of guidelines to provide a level playing field for the economically backward but meritorious students.

Schools should provide proper sex education for children according to their age groups to avoid sexual abuses. It is also mandatory for a school to provide the awarness on the act and helpline available in schools for children that is provided by the Government. Schools should consider this sex education as part of their curriculum.

I think what is extremely important in higher education is to increase focus on education. Students be empowered to focus on their career. I feel substance abuse is a greater barrier to student careers. If we can have a CCTV on all pan-bedi shops and not allow students to consume pan-beedi and cigarettes out of college. Instead when they ask for these substances, they're handed over leaflets of courses they can study to pursue their careers. Age-limit to access to alcohol and substance be increased to 24 years. Students need to be made aware of schemes provided by the government. Lack of awareness and financial struggles make students drop-out and take different ways instead of building a career.
