To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until August 15, 2023.

Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions are mainly based on Teaching facilities. For the smooth running of Higher Education Institutions, More people and infrastructure needed. More people are working behind the screen like Technical, Administrative staff. If the above mentioned considered During Accreditation, facilities may be improved for them. Also Accreditation may be based on the usage of Battery Vehicles and bicycles to maintain Green Campus. Accreditation may also be evaluated on the basis of Tree Plantation activities. Special marks may be awarded for Waste water management and Garbage Disposal. Without proper Maintenance of Buildings, with outer coat paintings the Institutions are showing brightly During Accreditation. If the above said possible suggestions considered for Accreditation, Higher Education Institutions will improve their rankings. Higher Education Institutions of our country will go in to new heights. Jai hind.

Namaste sir. Accreditation may be based on the NEP implementations. Skill based courses must have Skilled Technicians with Laboratories. Most of the Skill based courses have been conducted for name shake without full time subject related Heads. Students safety measures during Skilled Trainings are most important. Syllabus for Vocational Training course subjects may be with uniformity by following other Higher Education Institutions. It'll add more strength to the vision of our Honourable PM on NEP. Jai hind

Also Drug lobbies are focusing mainly on college and higher secondary campus. Machineries cant get the top level links because they are too powerful. Medias and police celebrate with some local providers. This is the reality. If this continues, India in future cant able to enjoy the fruit of Demographic Dividend So as a mechanism to prevent, there must be stringent laws such as a medical check up in each year after 16 years of age up to 35 or 40 and need to certify that he/she is free from drugs. And make sure that these people will have a priority when they apply for governments jobs or other kind of employments

As a continuation, while evaluating Educational Institutions, I personally knew a few, where the management runs not for the student's future but only for money. Many of such institutions had a good relationship with ruling political parties. So law enforcement agencies of the state are helpless. When a student raise any complaint they target him/her and make sure that he/she wont complete the course. They are gambling with the life and future of young demography. So as a solution, there want to be a National Level, Centrally Maintained Student Grievance cell, where a student can raise a complaint against the institution by protecting his/her identity. And as a follow up, a central level machinery should be employed without involving state level machineries.

Respected Sir/Madam In this generation the relationship between student and teacher seems to be not in good alignment. Looking into the school level CBSE, NCERTs are not taught without giving any importance and students reliase its importance when they face any competitive exams for central and state govt. By then, they will forget all and need to study from beginning. In college level too, teachers are just professional. Sometimes it felt that they are just doing for salary. For a good generation their teachers want to also good and passionate who need to love their job irrespective of fun with monthly salary. Teachers want to be the guide for the generation, for that a good student - teacher relation want to be build. Teachers need Like half yearly exams, a half yearly ranking is important for teacher through a survey from the students. Also their should be some communicative activities with teachers. which are socially important.
