India Enterprise Architecture (IndEA) Framework along with its Adoption Guide were developed and released in December, 2018. The vision of IndEA is “to establish best-in-class architectural governance, processes and practices with optimal utilization of ICT infrastructure and applications to offer ONE Government experience to the citizens and businesses”.

During implementation of IndEA as well as in the light of advancement of technology, a need was felt to revise the IndEA document and accordingly, after multiple rounds of meetings and detailed deliberations, draft InDEA 2.0 document has been formulated (report given below). India Digital Ecosystem Architecture (InDEA) 2.0 harmonizes and builds upon the architectural frameworks developed during the last few years. While codifying their principles, it provides a pragmatic approach to realize the concept of open digital ecosystems in an integrated and collaborative manner. It recommends a value-driven approach, a focus on capability building and above all, a preference to ‘enabling’ rather than ‘building’. It is an evolving and dynamic framework with continuous improvement as its mantra. The InDEA 2.0 framework enables establishing such a right balance in all the ongoing architectural initiatives and accelerates the realization of the vision of Digital India.

In the light of the above facts, it is requested to kindly review the document and provide your valuable comments/feedback on the draft InDEA 2.0 document latest by February 27, 2022

Transparency, Accountability, Auto Escalation, Auto-credit penalty if falling to complete the task on SLA, Legal proceeding and fast track resultion via court must be part of the digital system. Full digitalization is the only way to eradicate corruption, unaltered record keeping by introducing blockchain into the transactions are necessary and we should also consider creating a centrally owned transaction archival machenism were all states every public system transactions are available unaltered this will help the court to get the unaltered digital records for faster resolutions.

To digitise India in my point of view the first task to be done is to digitise the government offices to public, i.e. the diving licence registration, registration of adhar card, registration of startups, etc. People will not require to go to the corrupt officers for such works which will not only boost up the procedures but also reduse corruption in the country.

1) Mention guidelines on DOS( Denial of services) cyber attacks. 2) Provide Service Model for renting computing services. 3) Develop DESI( Digital economy & society index of India) to track state digital competitiveness on basis of connectivity, internet use skills, digital public services, e health, e commerce, use of content communication & online transaction and security. 4) please progressively move towards ICT IP bundle strategies which put less emphasis on technological innovation (patents) & leverage more on design like look & feel and on extract value from trademarks 5) Promote more domestic ICT jobs using architecture. 6) Digital Distance learning-essential but inaccessible, so make it available with recognition. 7) Ensure single sign on & equal access to digital solution for all states. 8) Suggest Smart Digital Council to create valuable analysis in decision making 9) Reduce risks on citizen privacy. 10) Have strong depth of digital literacy among people to minimise harms.
