Smart city proposal for Jammu is quite good. My suggestions are as follows: 1. Playground near residential areas. 2. Roads in the city should be build with quality material. 3. Improvement and management of government schools. 4. Special areas for fruit and vegetable vendors. 5. Planned land division for residential colonies. I salute our prime minister for all the good work he is doing for the nation. Thank You.

Dear policy makers Its painful to watch that every now and then, the roads are dug by different pvt telecoms or govt PSU to lay their cables on even freshly made roads by R§B overlooking the nuisance it creates for the whole civil society I suggest to make some concrete plan of creating a permanent openable steel passage along roadsides so that any organisation who wants to lay the optical fibre cable or whatever dont require to dig § use this steel fabricated passage. Smart city smart plan

Jammu is one of most congested cities. It cant be made smart until and unless we remove congestion on traffic routes.Jammu requires immediate construction of flyovers.Few flyovers that can make life easy for residents are: 1.New plot road 2.Canal road 3.BC road 4.Paloura highway Except these i cant think jammu can be smart. Another suggestion is to have speciality hospitals, parkings at old city and gandhi nagar area to boost market. Development of adjancent villages like nagrota etc

#smartcity #jammu jammu has terrible communication network with no local low floor bus and no garbage collection mechanism. the roads become bottlenecks as illegal parking and dearth of parking slots. it need faster local connectivity like metro or tram to various tourist places that could be developed some of them are ramsar sites but due to poor comm. and ill conservation of sites made them unpopular destination.

Four lane Jammu-Akhnoor highway. Separate mini-buses for females. Providing basic urban amenities in adjoining rural areas. Better sports infrastructure, including sports academies, hostels. Heavy re-forestation along the margins of the city, to act as carbon sinks. Solid waste management, waste collection centres in every Mohalla. To eliminate drug abuse.

While DPR looks balanced, imp thing is to ensure effective&timely implementation of the projects envisaged to make #jammu a #smart city in true sense of the word. Some suggestions: 1. Focus on improvement of Green Cover, intelligent traffic management, energy efficiency, proper sewerage&solid waste management, segregation of waste, prevention of water logging etc 2. Infrastructure projects for sustainability&economic viability of the city 3. Promotion of tourism&protection of heritage&culture
