As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

1. There are many departments where digitization still not available due to all data in physical form not in soft. I suggest to create such job where educated ladies could do all data entry online through their home (Visit to office once in week). It will promote India development along with transparency in departments and reduce corruption. 2. Promote online jobs where ladies can operate from their home. 3. Promote solar panel installation in each state which could be good source of income.

In India we have this 'Self Help Group' where the commodities are prepared by the community in their own village/taluk. This needs to be given a boost so that the village can sustain for itself with out the need for government intervention. The government should just intervene in arranging for a market for these groups so that they are able to sell/buy commodities from others groups as well.

For those who have an independent house or plot (I am excluding the elite class from this - sorry about that) they can grow their own vegetables and plant Ayurvedic plants. This will help them in sourcing vegetables from their own farm and the income can be generated from the Ayurvedic plants/herbs. These do not pollute the environment
