As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

i always see poor and middle class woman striving for money .they choose either tailoring or go for cooking to houses.but here creativity is not the thing to admire.they need money to survive.they also need a job.when we say india is a super cultural country we are lacking somewhere to save them. when my nation has highest population ther emust be highest work demands in the field of clothing.i would ask my government to create a huge sector in all districts to employ woman for tailoringetc

Dear sir, My name is arathi and from kerala. I am  running a hobby classes for ladies. I took participated in many exhibition to sell creative products like bedsheets, carpentry product which is specially designed for ladies. But the problem what I face in each time is  though our product cost  for example 100 Rs we forced to sell it to 300 Rs because we have to pay rent for stall. To try drop shipping through various social media.... People can find out some genuine sellers and ask them to send the pictures of their stock periodically and they can market the product through the social media in their free time!

just involve in private sector, quki jyada se jyada employee private sector me hi hai jaha na paise ki koi garantee na job ki surity. jo dekho wahi paise maar deta aur naukri se nikalne ki dhamki bhi deta hai..

Most of us must have observed that most of women start keeping Pickles & Papad when just before summer days or on occassions, and these food stuffs can be eaten for more that 1 year, right. Means it has quality, that can be sell to a Grocery store, by keeping pickles in small boxes by sticking a Small well printed Pickle Name Plate on the box with required details & Contacts. In this process a risk taking ability & a nice business communcation are needed, first with Grocery seller & Customer.
