Namaste, I am from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and would like to share an idea for the upcoming Mann Ki Baat episode on 27th September 2026. “Ganga Seva, Kashi Ki Zimmedari” — Varanasi is known worldwide for Maa Ganga, its ghats and cultural heritage. I suggest starting a youth-led “Ghat Mitra” movement, where students, volunteers, shopkeepers, boatmen and citizens work together to keep the ghats clean, reduce single-use plastic and spread awareness about protecting the Ganga. Schools and colleges could adopt nearby ghats and organize regular cleanliness and awareness drives. This would strengthen Jan Bhagidari and inspire the youth to preserve Kashi’s heritage and environment for future generations. I hope this idea from Varanasi can contribute to a larger national movement. Jai Hind! Har Har Mahadev!

It would be great if the PM encourages people to save rainwater and plant trees in our neighborhoods before it's too late.

I suggest that Children are advised on the importance of the Joint Family System which was the pride of our society but seems to be loosing ground lately.With small nuclear families these days children should be educated on holding ties with their cousins and close family members which will help survive the ups and downs in life.Adhering to morals and values is very important to safeguard our Strong Family System.
