Respected FM & Team, My suggestions :-
1. GST on house hold consumable should be restricted. At present, all the consumable prices are too high & it is difficult to survive day by day 2. Alternate assignment/part time job under government schemes for housewives, retired persons, old aged people so that there experience can be utilize for country progress 3. There are lot of delay to get approval which is still offline under Superannuation Act/Gratuity Act or any other act. 4. Lower tax burden for income up to 15 lac (as per inflation for survival it is required to get 70k-80k per month). 4. More robust required of e compliances. 5. GST on motor vehicle upto certain CC should be reduced.

This budget should attempt to provide funds for replenishment and extension of our teak and sal forests to make up some of the lost natural wealth of our country. This would also replenish natural habitat for forest animals facing extinction.

I propose the establishment of help desks or kiosk desks in every ward of the city. These desks should serve as:
Tech Information Hubs for students to access educational resources and technology-related guidance.
Knowledge Sharing Points where people can exchange ideas, skills, and information to foster a more informed and connected community.
Additionally, I suggest setting up a Reuse Counter in each ward. These counters can collect items (like clothes, books, or household goods) that are no longer needed by some and redistribute them to those in need, promoting sustainability and community support.
This initiative could significantly enhance access to education, information, and essential items for everyone in the city.

Need social security based on the amount of tax paid. Right now the situation is such that, if there is a job loss/accident/health event, it threates to wipe out all the savings in one go even if we have paid quite a few lakhs in taxes last year. Private Insurance agencies are not trustworthy and deny claims in the time of need. This keeps us always on stress and caution and discourages spending. Health insurance should be provided by government based on taxes paid so far.

Dear Minister,
Please Stop burdening the honest tax payer. Do you think earning 2 lakh in city like Mumbai is luxury? How do you compare this person with a person earning similar income from smaller cities? Please consider cost of living before deciding income taxes. Also consider total family income, atleast husband and wife put together, example one person earning 2 lakhs pays almost 5 lakhs income tax per year, while if me and my wife both earn 1 lakh each, we hardly pay any taxes. Is it justified ? Also EMI of atleast one house and education of 2 children, this much income must be reduced before deciding any tax liability. Current tax regimes are obsolete, outdated and penalise honest tax payer, is it possible today that only 2 percent are capable of paying tax ? Please look around and see if it is true. Please do something before it is too late

TDS On Sale of Property
