Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two. NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education. NCrF will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.

NCrF will seamlessly integrate the credits earned through school education, higher education, and
vocational and skill education by encompassing the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF), National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National School Education Qualification Framework (NSEQF). It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods. The inclusive umbrella framework aims to make the options for Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit accessible and applicable across higher education, school education and vocational education, allowing students to choose their own learning trajectories and programmes.

The framework has been jointly developed by a committee constituted by the Government with members from UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, Department of School Education and Literacy & Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, DGT, and Ministry of Skill Development under the guidance of Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The Government is inviting comments and observations by the 30th of November on the document
which is available in the link below for download.

Namaste, The reality of our education system is that its not practical in practice in real life. Our children are very far from ground realities of life. Let's take an example children are unable to use compass for directions, geography is only in theory, cities location etc.. can't be used although they do everything using Google and Siri,Alexa... Engineering, medical students on other hand are money minded having no passion in the subject. The NEW EDUCATIONAL POLICY is a boon to our country,in which people have many distractions, deviations,dropouts,etc.. This may help the skilled, talented, vocational studies and all are benifited every child has their own interest and it allows them to follow their own interest. The NEW policy can definitely bring up the LITERACY level of our nation which was once only privileged to only certain classes. KNOWLEDGE IS DIVINE. JAI HIND.

The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) was the national credit transfer system for education qualification in England, Northern Ireland and Wales until October 2015. The QCF replaced the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) which closed for accreditations at the end of 2010. Students who started qualifications under the NQF completed them as such, but any student starting a qualification from September 2011 completed it under the QCF. Scotland has its own system, the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework. The system in England and Wales was also set to change, as the government announced in March 2015 that the QCF rules would be withdrawn and replaced with something 'simpler'.[1] This simpler replacement was the Regulated Qualification Framework.

Indian schools should mandatorily elect there a class leader, a sports leader, a discipline leader, an editorial leader, a cultural head, a secretary or deputy leader, a cleaning leader and a deputy support staff personnel. The cleaning leader should not only monitor the break out area but also conduct workshops to Cleanliness at School or talks on Personal Hygiene. Spitting in public places ,here in Gujarat, people consider eating gutka as their fundamental right . I request our Honourable Prime Minister to take action or impose fine on people who spit after eating gutka on roads and building walls.
