Regarding ganga cleaning I suggest that multistory building map should not approve without sewage treatment plant.

It is a very easy task to clean GANGA. Everyone one has their own part to do it. The first step should be taken by the people who are dependent and around Ganga. A river cleaning education program should be implemented by the govt.,these people should be backed by the rest of the country to clean the river.Y a river which cleans people's sins in a single dip kept not clean? It is the duty of every citizen to go and participate in cleaning the Ganga. SWACH GANGA SWACH BHARAT. JAI HIND.

most imp, "BAN! use of plastic in 20kms range of it" it is most seen waste in river, there is no "returning way" of plastic back into the nature. u most knw it

I wud not like to say my problems to u...Being a citizen i accept it a resposibilty to clean infact not only ganga but India as well,but i being a 16 year old guy feels myself to work on it.I am sure if I am given a chance i could bring a great revolution i the world..My motoo is to "Understand other and they will understand u".Every soul in earth r correct they r just deviated from their path..I gave every effort but alas am just a small to the world

Main cause is city pollutions waste,which the Govt. is already started redressing.However there is another angle to it and that is our mindset and way of performing Pujas,Veg/fruits/oil etc should not be allowed to be immersed, instead all worship material should be of pure earth clay.No corposes human or animal be allowed to be immersed.This mindset can only be revolutionised by taking in the Pujaris on board.

Dear Sir, In my area we are suffering from water and drainage problem. We have no clean water and their is no proper drainage system. Please do the needful.

The river can be divided at every 200km stretch and a certain type of sewage disposer or a check over the strech to check for the irregularities and at the very check point the contamunated water can be discharged through a separate canal and be disposed iff properly making it of further use to the near by villages or adjoining canal and the basic problem of cremation ashes and the disposal of the body can be done at the ghats but at a separate chanel can be made fro the flow of the bodies .

For the next generation should not suffer .......... 1.First of all dont pollute the rivers....... 2.All industrial should not allow to the rivers ...... 3.Gvt has to take some strict /stringent steps towards Environmental Clearances......

Some aquatic plants can be used for cleaning heavy metals from river ganga.These aquatic plants have very good uptake capability and has been tested in heavy metals like cadmium and lead. My wife is doing her phd in same field and if given opportunity we will try this for cleaning of Maa Ganga and Yamuna.
