Government should ban industries manufacturing new plastic products, instead old waste plastic should be used for this purpose.

Dear sir, We must have a focused program of requesting the Pooja Mandals to avoid putting the flowers/leaves/garlands etc. in the Holy Ganges and use all that for making vermi-compost. The collection can be organized through students and the collected material could be transported to the nurseries of Forest/Horticulture/Agriculture Departments/ College Gardens for conversion into compost. regards. Dear Sir, Let me not doubt the seriousness of government. There is always hope. So, if Ganga truely needs to be clean, we not only need to be strict in implementing CPCB norms, we also need to dump our religious sentiments (I am talking about burning / disposing dead bodies in Holy Ganga). No fresh law is required to be made. The requirement is of making up our minds. CPCB norms are very strict. It is up to us how strictly & religiously we implement it.
