Now comes the financial aspect of taking strict action against breachers. We always say we don't have enough funds for Ganga cleaning , so why not use money collected by fine imposed on industry for this holy and noble cause. So I don't find any reason for not taking strict action.

Cleaning alone will not make Ganga to come up to its beauty. The important point here is stopping polluted water from being disposed to it forever. And god news is that we have all rules and regulations written in paper which can curb disposing of polluted water in Ganga. In recent past I saw a discovery documentary and what I feel is so many Industry along the sides of Ganga are breaching law and to know who all are them doesn't requires any CBI. So its just about taking damn strict action.

Dear Sir. There are far too many people complaining about the state of affairs in Varanasi. I dearly hope that with the help of PPP models it becomes an exemplary city very soon as with the AAP in a Delhi there is really no hope now

Clean Ganga project should also consider the inclusion of survey-drones across the river. The drones should be equipped to take HD pictures of the status of river so far the cleanliness is concerned. It should be able to take water samples in remote areas of the river by dipping the capsules. It will help to monitor the project efficiently. This prototype experiment can be implemented in disaster management. When we can reach to mars, we can do this also.

Sir, The River Ganges is not a river it is also goddess, it is the holiest river in the world. we have to try up-to our level best for 100% clean. Sir we have to remember the words of "ROBERT FORST":- "THE WOODS ARE LOVELY, DARK AND DEEP, BUT I HAVE PROMISES TO KEEP, AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP, AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP."

dry bio toilets must be installed in habitations around the gangs river. this would reduce the sewage generated and load on sewer lines to a great extent. natural products like shikakai shampoos, rice and grain powder instead of soaps which use chemicals must be encouraged. such activities would reduce the pollution and keep our environment clean as these are the major sources of domestic sewage generation

Below I paste note from a Hindi newspaper as I agree completely: It will be breakthrough.
