The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Heath care has been a crucial issue for India, and with the ever growing population we will soon hit a point where there will be a grave shortage of doctors and health professionals esp in rural areas. http://www.ted.com/talks/gail_reed_where_to_train_the_world_s_doctors_cuba this is a talk about a model health program, i believe India could benefit on a large scale from it.

I would like to call for black money abolition in real estate business. Currently it is difficult for the young taxpaying professionals to afford due huge discrepancy between the registration value and real buying value. For those want to do this all officially and legally it becomes unaffordable as the land registration fee of 7-8% even in a remote town seems too much. Registration fee or stamp duty should be less and people should register for the real buying price.

Addressing citizens through radio is a great idea and this motivates people to participate in several initiatives. There are significant proportion of Indians, like me can't understand Hindi. But we would like to follow the live broadcast, having an English subtitle would make this possible. I hope the digital India team can make this a reality!

govt losing crores daily LPG gas cylinder subsidy. Reduction of number of subsidised cylinders may not be politically wise decision, but should be strictly monitored. All hotels, thelawallahs, chaiwallahs, dhabas using domestic cylinders, sold in black by gas agencies who make all the money on subsidised cylinders.Govt loses crores every day. Start rewards for citizens reporting commercial use of domestic cylinders and heavy fine/cancellation gas agency licence after 3 defaults

DENTAL COLLEGES should be CLOSED and converted to MEDICAL Colleges. Why ? 1.Because unnecessarily whole medical science is taught to DENTAL students. 2.The infrastucture can be used for MEDICAL Colleges. 3.DENTAL can be taught as a special branch after MBBS. 4.There is saturation of DENTAL graduates at present. May bring frustration and malpraxis in future.

Priye Modi ji, while we are aiming for celebration of Yoga day world wide, we should also improve the infrastructure for people who want to go for walk in morning, Actually they are required to walk on the road, as the Area designated to be built as footpaths is either taken by the people in construction of Ramps illegally, and i am not sure why nothing is done on it. I am sure during town planning area is ear marked for footpaths, it is a hard sight to find them in Gurgaon
