Always heard railway in loss. Why?Who is planning and execution?ARE POLICIES IMPLEMENTED WELL AND THOUGHT BEFORE?
Well, still our progress is superb against the civic sense in mass. Trains has to have facility where by I can get a firm ticket whenever and wherever want to go? Can we have short connecting trains with firm tickets so called link trains or say mini train having fuel efficient engine?
Better connectivity of trains that one can travel through out the country increase tourism

Respected Pm Modi and Shri Suresh Prabhu.
I have some ideas to increase the non fare revenues of Indian railways.
1.The community halls can be given for wedding functions thgis can increase the revenue.
2.Railway can give ads on railway properties,Trains and other railway bodies.
Thank you.

Thank you Govt for such a wonderful platform.
I would recommend for "#Ministry of Railway" that they should focus completely on the Railway Projects which are pending from long time rather than announcing new projects, same the case with trains i.e. railway should focus on starting trains which are already announced but not yet started.

Dear Sir, Thanks for the opportunity. Few possible solutions are 1)Improve capacity utilization & Run special trains at peak season 2)Improve stations by building more shops 3)Station masters to have revenue targets & give them a %age back 4)Tie up with packers&movers for household shifting 5)Provide tourism counter/sightseeing options (commission from operators) 6)Suburban transport 7)Ads on train body, hoisery 8)wifi & tv ads in train 9)Reduce OPEX by using new technology

Trains names may be sponsered by Brands. For example Amul Ahmedabad-Mumbai Express, Raymonds Gwalior- New Delhi Express etc.
The beddings/ cutlery and other usable things may also be sponsored by Brands.
I hope this may be proved as good non-fare revenue. #NonFareRevenue, #IndianRailways, #Railways, #MyGov
Trains can be used as a big source of Advertisement channel. FM Radio like arrangement with Music and Advertisement may also attract good revenue.

Many of the trains run half filled. We are not utilizing it in full.
First & foremost present ticket issuing system is cumbersome & journey has to be planned.Let TC's be provided with eticketing machines like Buses.with aadhar cards or creditcards or irctc cards passengers shud be able to walkin at the last minute also.Like movie tickets we shud be able to buy tickets at railway stations. We shud be able to drive our cars into bogies.

We should use railways as a bigger platform for advertisement. Add more loaded trains which delivers goods faster with coverage of PAN India.
