The hurt and humiliation of a colony and 1962 war can be overcome by honor in emergence of the nation as a force by virtue of excellence in Olympics. It calls for a cultural change, behooving not only a Civilizational re-discovery to the roots of great Indian edifice resting on a system of physical and spiritual harmony but also enlarging it by extending its embrace outwards for ascendancy and elevation in life. Enumerated attachment’. Regards

Sir, ‘India needs to transmute from soft, sublime force to sure, substantial power in order to realize its Olympic aspirations. China excellence in sports is a journey from humiliation of a middle kingdom at hands of Manchu and Japanese to regaining of honor with superlative, stellar Olympic performances. India’s last millennium has its people take refuge in spiritual sanctuary.

There must be a proper training centre of all sports which must be headed by highly dedicated and talented persons like our 'Gopichand academy' in Hyderabad. Talent must be searched by the coaches or by any person so that even the village persons get the best training. Also, if possible these training centres should get the proper funding from our billionaires & our govt. also. These things need to be properly functioned without any corruption & partiality.

Keep training people in all walks of life and allow talented sports persons to be on the floor, let our flag keep flying high and high with flourishing colours to our Nation. We are talented and we know all that is to make people shine there is something called sharpening with little efforts from the coach and encouragement from four corners definitely our stones can be diamonds.....

Below are my suggestions.Pls create a new sports body to handle all the sports.Create good and well paying jobs in that body(Giving jobs in railways, police are waste)instead appoint only sports persons into that body(Primary eligibility for the job should be a sports person). Dont pay the prize money in full, instead put half prize money into the sports body and give the jobs(Trainers) to the winners and pay them through that money , let them earn the remaining money by bringing up new sportsmen.

environment surrounding us determines our way of thinking and which in turns decide our future goal.this is the reason why people of hariyana try their luck in wrestling, kabbadi, etc. while people from jharkhand are good in archery mostly tribal people. the fact is, they are intrinsically good in these things and they can perform good given the chance. most important factor that still hold Indians to get medals at olympics level is lack of infrastructure, trained coach ,incentive etc
