In the recently concluded Rio Olympics 2016, India sent its largest ever Olympic contingent comprising of 118 athletes. Despite the large number of athletes, the Indian contingent managed to bag only 2 medals in the Games viz., one Silver medal in Badminton and one Bronze medal in Wrestling. Considering the size of our country it can be said that the present performance was not up to the country’s potential. Views/suggestions are invited on what specific steps need to be taken to realise full sporting potential of India in forthcoming Olympics in 2020, 2024 and 2028.

PM Sir I would like to draw ur attention towards the tremendous increase in traffic/accidents in India. I suggest to make Traffic ethics/Driving lessons as a subject in our education system/curriculum for 11th and 12th classes with its exam in boards. Its a fact Children start driving before they turn to legal age of 18 yrs. Traffic ethics should mean rules, respect to fellow users, pedestrians , Driving lessons etc. Don't trust the License issue system in India.

Actually I think the major problem lies in our citizen's mind,at an average I surely can say that maximum people in India knows or are passionate about only Cricket or may be football, when a child says he want to persue his carrier in sports then immediately his/her parents start searching a good cricket coaching but they never try to take his son's/daughter's attention towards the many other games included in the Olympics game.Stop so much expense in cricket inspite of that try some other.

According to me 1)physical education should be given prior importance from primary school onwards 2)the high budget behind khel mahakumbh should be stopped because its implementation at a ground level is zero. 3)free coaching centre for every sports should be devolep in all talukas.so that hidden talents from villages get a better oppurtunity

According to my view, the following are some of the things that we can practice. + We must have a sports research organisation for providing scientific training for athletes. + Information has to be given to young children on exercises and activities that they can do according to their age . + We must have public gymnasiums in cities and towns that are seen in many of the foreign countries.

Changes should be made at organic level. Sports should be viewed as part of our education system. Children should be properly guided and provided infrastructure required to nourish their sporting talent. Parents should start recognizing sports as respective fields and encourage the children to concentrate on specific sports of their interest.

First we should encourage children from school to see games and sports as a lucrative career prospect. For this following needs to be done:- 1. National games should be bifurcated (i.e. athletic and sports event). Every alternate year national games in either of them should be held. 2. District level competition comprising of school kids to be held. 3. School curriculum should include games and sports as one of the subject.

ACCORDING TO ME EVERY MONTH A FEST SHOULD BE HELD BY INDIAN OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION IN DIFFERENT STATES OF INDIA... AND THE LOCAL PEOPLE SHOULD GET A CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN IT AND BEST JUDGES AND COACHES SHOULD HAVE A LIVE LOOK TO THIS EVENT AND FIND THE TALENT AND PROMOTE THEM FOR FUTHUR TRAINING BY GOVERNMENT.... IN INDIA THERE IS LOT OF TALENT BUT BECAUSE OF LACK OF COACHES , ACADEMIES AND FINANCIAL CRISIS PEOPLE CAN'T DO ANYTHING.. CAMPAIGNS AND ADVERTISMENT IS ALSO A GOOD IDEA TO PROMOTE THIS
