India is one of the largest population country in the world, but the most of the government's administration offices are in cities and most of the population of our country is in rural areas, there are many skillful people in our rural areas but they don't have the right platform to express or explore themselves. For Olympics the selection process of players for all the games in Olympics must be done from rural areas of india. Trust the abilities in rural Indians.

Indian Olympic Association is not being taken to task. Instead the coaches and the players are being blamed. Action needs to be taken on the obvious. Please select the members and the president of IOA carefully and leave them with the goals and make them accountable. There should be no interference from politicians, government officials and other people of vested interests in the constitution of IOA and in its functioning.

First of all we should remove non sports people from associations in different positions.
2) India is sanctioning 1500 crores foe sports but if you ask sportsmen who have attended rio or Olympics they don't even get the basic nutrition they need, government is crediting money for all the nutritions and supplements but where does the money go?
3)sports must be privatised to get the best result. Am 100% sure that our medals will be 5 times more compared to now.

The chronic lack of resources has undermined India's performance. Not many are entitled to receive even a fitness instructor in their lifetime. Sports is looked down upon when it comes to choosing it as a career path and education is given is given more importance.
Why? Because hiring a coach/trainer is ridiculously expensive for a middle class family. No infrastructure for development. As a result, even the common man cannot get opportunities to grow.

I might sound weird, but we spend all our time/money/energy in a stupid game called "CRICKET". India is a poor country and general public have limited time and money...and they spend it entirely in cricket. Result-Rest of the sports do not get attention and viewership...and hence no sponsors.
So put a entire BAN on cricket and we will route the attention to other sports. Eventually sponsors will improve the infrastructure.
Stop watching cricket and we will win minimum 10 GOLD in next omlypics
