In the recently concluded Rio Olympics 2016, India sent its largest ever Olympic contingent comprising of 118 athletes. Despite the large number of athletes, the Indian contingent managed to bag only 2 medals in the Games viz., one Silver medal in Badminton and one Bronze medal in Wrestling. Considering the size of our country it can be said that the present performance was not up to the country’s potential. Views/suggestions are invited on what specific steps need to be taken to realise full sporting potential of India in forthcoming Olympics in 2020, 2024 and 2028.

Sir there is great talent in small towns . we should start from step 1 for searching talents in sports in small towns by providing good facilities in towns and making good selection criteria based on their abilities. Not only gov. Even citizens need to give importance to sports. Good facilities should be provide by state gov. And central gov. Thank u

as we look to China and USA, the govt body specialises in Olympic stratergy making and development of employees. the chilren from the age of 5-6 are handpicked by the experts team in various fields of sports. this creates not an artificial talent in the child. but he/she is selected as per his qualities. fther the developed countries spend around $30 per day on child's sports where as in India only 0.28/Rs is spent. we do have any infrastructure for the development of the sports persons. c

China was saying the same thing again for the dam that nothing will be affected as they said for South China sea. They will not militarise on the SCS. But now openly denying and challenging even the court decision. Same is the case for China Pakistan Economic Corridor. We have to tackle these issue right at the beginning. China will engage their aggression from East engage our Defence and Pakistan on the other hand will be attacking to take PoK. We cannot afford war now

Sir,Salute to the Entire Defence Team for their Sacrifices and Undoubted Security to our Citizens of Country. Those who are asking proofs of the strike are irresponsible and indirectly working for enemies by demanding the strategy of our attack and wants disclosure of the same. There seems to be big plan by our enemy and its supporting allies like China. Why the China is vetoing in favor of terrorists and building dam on river directly linked with us.

6.for sport school we should ask for tax payers to take burden or corporates should take finincial burden through csr. 7. Those who do not show instrest in sport should be immediately kick off out of school campus. 8. Motivational training should be arranged their to boost their moral for winning only gold in olympics for India and not for themselves. 9. Tax benefit should be given to the families of sport person so that focus will be generated. 10 Indian goverment should take all steps.

Our Indian team has a greater potential, but they are lagging behind only because of the resources that have to be given to them. They don't have very good facilities for their practicing purpose, the kits provided should be with a good quality, another thing is that the budget invested for it is being corrupted by the head of Olympics or a part of it.every Olympic participant will have a goal of winning a medal and make his nation proud, but if they lack because of resources so please bring them up.

Dear sir, 1.we should train sport from childhood and if found that he or she can do better then in each district we should have facility of sport school where sport is main acitivity of focus. 2.In sport school world class facilities and coach to be provided for them, we should also take care of food intake by them. 3.Only sport talent is the basic to give admision in that school. 4.There all focus should be winning olymics gold medal. 5. They should only watch all olympics sports.

Any monetary felicitation above the 1cr mark, the excess money should be divided between the state and central sports bodies for that particular sport with the utilisation and disbursement of that money restricted to improvement in facilities ALONE. Subsidies and discounted tickets for special interest/support groups should be given second priority over facility improvement. Coaches should be of both genders and held to a high moral code, too many young sportspeople quit due to harassment.

All the big money in sport comes after the fact, a big win is the only reason people loosen their purse strings and while that money MAY go on to help some sportspeople, the most support they need is for before they have that big win. All state and central sports bodies should be reconstituted to have an equal representation from male and female sportspeople. All money transactions to be moved online with detailed authentication. All monetary felicitation for a sportsperson shouldn't cross 1cr
