It's not about money we pour in and expect the medal tally to increase exponentially. We need to fix the issue at grass root level.
Like we have a start-up named KOOH doing good in sports domain. We can push this kind off start-ups to nurture talents from every remote corner of the country.
Find the best talent and then provide them with international exposure.
A complete roadmap is required with think than mulling ideas and target set to achieve what we decide in coming Olympics.

First task should be that all sports bodies should be managed by the experts in the particular sport but not by outsiders. This is also seems the opinion of the hon. Supreme Court of India as seen in the recent case of BCCI. Expert Couches should be appointed and get encouragement as done recently in badminton, wrestling etc. Gender discrimination should not be there. Only relevant experts should be sent abroad with players and not politicians and officials.

Dear Government!!
I think that success in sports is the result of good health, good physique and great mind-body coordination. Trying to develop sports talent is like trying to "water the fruits instead of roots". Systems should be developed for improving physical strength , stamina and mental toughness of all our future citizens. Facilities should be made available for every Indian to exercise and exert themselves. Let us be fit before we fight.

remove all political interference, make retired sportsmen incharge of selection. selection process has to be very transparent, a website for public should be created where the selected sports person's profile with his or her achievements should be mentioned also reasons for selection. there should be not any regional or zonal quota for selection for representing India.

India needs an massive overhaul in its education system for creating a complete individual who are socially responsible and compassionate. Though being self centred is required to achieve ones goals but one should not forget the nature its surroundings that play an important role in ones development. The education system controlled by politicians industrialist across seems have only one goal maximise profit... n sadly the exorbitant fees charged fail to deliver on the end goal as mentioned above

No interference of government in preparation or any part of game. All companies are compulsory need to spend some percentage of their profit to encourage games and creat master players. Their performance conect company profile. Companies will get tax benefits, add, long term goodwill. No chance for curuption ir favouritism . No direct burden on government & extra ordinary result.

There is no professional sports training in all schools yet. All school should have at-least one sport seriously trained by the professional trainer. To find a good swimming coach and training center, parents has to take there children's long ways. I am not talking about the cities, if we look in to villages there would be hardly any good sports training center in one district. Each district should have all the sports training center weather its cricket, badminton, football, skates, swimming etc.

a)Reduce the no of hours in the school to not more than 5 as in earlier days b)Create data bank at school level and provide training at area level c)Coaches are key here d)Break barriers of regionalism, language, caste very prevalent in all the Indian society e)Do not provide incentives eg job reservation. This only leads to corrupt system.d) To produce champions we do not need 10-12 years but one olympic year. e)Sport equipment import must stop.Sports equipment importers have become millionaire
