f the Central Government is serious about improving sports in the country, they have to MAKE ALL SPORTS FEDERATIONS ACCOUNTABLE, identify good sports people through the federations, and support them by helping them particpate in as many international events as possible to gain experience and skills.
They also have to identify good coaches, and train them to international standards.

Like in business decisions as we look at return on investment, if there is some assured ROI for sports personnel, more people will opt sports as profession and country may get better talent pool to choose from.

The first and the foremost suggestion is to the Govt. must show the door to every sports administrator who is an active Politician. If at all an active politician is require at a sports body he or she should not be in a Decision making authority. In another words the politicians must be there only as Patron and in capacity of a Guide to the Sports body.
The Sports body should be handed over and headed by a panel of former sports person of repute and coaches wherever possible.

There is great talent in villages. Identify talent at early age, nurture them. But, to play any sport nutrition is important. As most children in villages come from poor backgrounds, the state administration should fund their meals, sporting gear and clothing.

Firstly, all tournaments should be on the basis of political boundaries. For example, in the Ranji Trophy, there should not be separate teams for Mumbai & Maharashtra, but should be Inter State.
Secondly, sports tournaments should be held starting from school level. Winners should be declared for each School, Gram Panchayat, District, State, etc.Bi annually, there should be INDIAN OLYMPICS.

To become a sportsperson ,they put 6 to 8 hours in practising(daily)if a person do this, they left plenty of time to do other things.Apart from this if a sportsperson got medal only then they get a govt job.But what about those sportspersons who are putting so much of effort into their respective sports but do not get medal.Career takes important role in everybody's life.By giving assurance of their career, and by securing their future it can improve their performance and the no. Of medals too.

Sir first of all sports should treated as a compulsory suject for all just like any other subjects in every public/private school.Every sports teacher should help in searching for the true potential of their students and encourage to participate in Olympics right from childhood.
Government should allocate not just funds but also look whether they are being actually spent on sports participants or not.Proper facility to every Olympics participants must be made available to them by Government

Performance of in Olympic or any other mega sports events can only be improved by search of Talent at the age of 12-18 in school/college level and different forums like districts or sub divisional levels.
after selecting the players all the players to be send to proper training for 8-10 years.
analysis of each players to be done early to select best one among all selected players in previous selection.

* Schools should be advised to identify talents at an young age.
* Proper infrastructure that is of world standards should be made available.
* A parallel syllabus that is not as demanding should be designed the education department.
* Home Schooling should be recognised as an option for students who spend more time in training for the sports in which they have future.
