As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

I wrote a mail to Ministry of Forest and Environment long back (Jan 27, 2015) regarding solution to major problem of rice husk ash. No reply.....The government seems just dodging people by such websites like mygov.in and nobody even reply or pay attention to our comments and suggestions. just see my attached letter.

I am very surprised when i can see the foreign roads are so green due to proper plantation, why we cant have these? We just need to select couple of countries as a pilot and find out the way to increase the plantation specially middle of the road (on deviders) During Baroda Anand highway development i came to know that 15000 tress were cutted. Surprise..!!! If other countries are replanting them and moving them from one place to another why we always think about cutting them.

1.) Connecting all rivers. 2.) Solar power implementation in all villages. 3.) Encouraging agriculture by appointing agriculture officials in each village to understand the practical problems of the farmers and helping them to fix this. 4.) Even though government taking lot of steps to improve the farmers life, farmers doesn't have much knowledge on the reforms provided to them by government, so we need to create the media which will communicate news to them quickly. 5.) Organic Farming.

HR Resources can be improved thro e-learning practices so that the spending of heavy fees towards education should vanish thereby avoiding blackmoney generation by a small crowd who owns the institutions and loan burden to the public at large.
