As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

Phasal ki Katai ke Har Mausam mein purane Stock ki jagah naye Stock aa jate hai. Aaj tak kuchh nahi Badla hai, khul mein pada yah Anaj bhandar Aage ke Varso mein aur Adhik Kharab hota jata hai. Es Varsh bhi Sthti yahi hai ki Punjab aur Haryana mein naye Anaj Bhandarad ke liye Jagah ki Kami hai, Ab to Madhya Pradesh bhi Isme Samil ho gaya hai kyoki wah ab Gehu ke Bade Utpadak Rajya ke taur par Ubhra hai.

Jo baatein hairan karti hai wo yah ki kabhi bhi kisi Rajnitik Dal ke Ajende mein khule mein Pade Gehu ke Vishal Stock ka Samuchit Bhandarad Chunavi Mudda Nahi bana, Punjab ke Samuche Malwa chhetra mein yah paya gaya hai ki har saal Tamam jagaho par KHULE mein Anajo ka Bhandarad kiya gaya hai.Aasman ke niche boriyo mein bharkar rakkhe gaye Anajo ke Dher kayi jagaho par Punjab hi nahi Pure Bharat mein Dikhane ko milegi.

I don't know if this hepls but what about kitchen gardens specially in villages where there is a backyard to grow organic food and relatively many women are home makers so they can take care of it. It is a cost effective way to get healthy food. Also the plants cab be grown in plastic containers, so less pollution, heathy food.

If we prepare a micro plan for individual village including available natural resources, human resources, their day to day need, start cottage industries this can be easily achieved. We have to make people self sustained and there must be no subsidy for individual. It should be for mass and then we can achieve a sustainable model for food security and rural livelihood. A special package should be given to those who lives in villages and work there.

Certain plastic carry bags, pouches, packing which are harmful for the environment should be banned through out India. People will automatically carry cloth carry bags if plastic will be banned!!

Government should try NOT to acquire the FERTILE land for industrial purpose. And Govt should try to establish industries in the NON FERTILE (i. e. deserts) areas of India with providing electricity, roads and water in those area.

1.To reduce pollution from vehicles we can make it compulsory for vehicle manufacturer company to plant and grow one tree for each vehicle they sell. Also while selling they should gift one tree to buyer and encourage them to plant. 2.To reduce pollution from industry make it compulsory for industries to plant enough tree to absorb Carbon di-oxide emission from their industry. 3.In school promote the culture of gifting a plant from school to a student on their birthday.
