As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

The problem in Rural India is two fold: 1. Pressure of Population, 2. Saturation in Agriculture. To remove pressure of population we need a massive urbanization program (like the 100 smart cities project) so that people migrate to cities for jobs and improving their quality of life thereby improving the quality of life in villages as well. For 2nd problem we need technology, water management, training & education of farmers & financial support system to improve yield from fields

We need a "Krishi Aayog" on the lines of Niti Aayog, a Think Tank consisting of best experts in the field of Agriculture, they should make a blueprint for how to achieve a second green revolution that benefits farmers, consumers and trade balacne alike. We need to make it possible for our farmers to grow multiple crops in a sustainable way so that rural income increases and that should fuel consumerism which will kick start our industry as well.

Yadi hamari Bharat Sarkar aur Rajya Sarkar milkar es Gehu ke Bhandarad ki es Satat Samasya ka Samadhan khoj sake to Mujhe Khushi hogi, Aakhir Kisan ko Adhik Utpadan karne ko kyo kaha jata hai ? Saaf hai ki Khadyaan Utpadan ke Morche par koi Sankat nahi hai balki Samasya KHADYAN PRABHANDAN ki hai . Khabro ke Mutabik es Saal Punajb mein 130 lakh Ton Gehu ke kharidari ki Ummid thi isme se 65% phisdi hissa khule mein platform ke kinare BORIYO mein bharkar aur dhakkar rakkha jata hai.

Kamjor Mausam sthiti ke karad es saal bhi pure Desh mein Phasalo ki Katai mein 1 Pakhwade ki Deri hui bawjud iske yah Nirasajanak hai ki Mandiyo mein Gehu ke Bhandar kayi jagho par Bikhare Dekhne ko Mile hai. Kisan ko yah Sikayat rahti hai ki Mandiyo mein Apna Anaj rakhne ke liye jagah pane ke liye abhi kuchh din aur Intejaar karna hoga . Es saal bhi Punjab ko Ummid thi ki takriban 18 lakh Ton Gehu bahar bheja ja sakega lekin khali hone wala sthan Meal ke Chawal se Bhar jata hai .
