the Indians should themselves promote the Indian handlooms by not buying the international brands cloths for any special occasions and textile industries should accept the Indian craftsman as their designer to launch their products in the international and national markets.

Step 1: Make a website of different state example [पोशाक.in/ poshak.in] and then respective state name.
Step 2: Allow local people to submit their products or get an employment in respective industry.
STEP 3: Buying section-> so that people can get it online also.
Step 4: companies like Big Bazar can sell them as people do visit on weekends
Benefit
1.It will also create a source of employment.
2.Women can work from home.
3.One can get a taste of whole India and culture of various state.

When Tourist come in India when they return back we have to give one clothes & bag of our brand which is mandatory to all tourist to purchase . We have one handlooms shop in each International Airports.
Likewise NRI will also help for us they can also do the same task for us.
We have to advertise in a Broadcast manner with the help of Internet that every world will know our Brands.

The problem lies in Marketing,
If Handloom has to be promoted as a brand, we should start thinking like one.
Asking people to buy handloom to 'Save our Culture' etc.. will not help,
Majority of people will buy clothes of a particular brand because of attractive marketing.
Selling with a marketing punchline reading 'Buy our products because we need livelihood' is not at all appealing.
I think if we showcase the product as 'Rare and expensive', we will be able to get a better market response.

Sir, I think online platform will be the great idea for Indian handlooms products. I think we have to create a micro website for those people who attached with this business and also give them short training about online business. Govt Should provide them free domain name and space and free technology support.

So we have to create our strategy in clothing manufacturing in a way that it can be extremely low cost so we can target some underdeveloped countries for our prospect market in economical range. And as I say before we have to create our establishment in a way that we can target countries like African countries , European countries and in fact we have to focus on those countries only for first 5 years rather then looking at west .

China is ruling in manufacturing because they are focusing on low cost manufacturing only. Similarly in clothing manufacturing already there is big competition. If we just focus on countries like USA, Australia, UK and think for big margin then we are not thinking right. but instead of that if we focus on countries which once we have shared same history and trade relationship in ancient days then we can create recreate our identity in clothing manufacturing.
