In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

Sir please do put yournefforts to start the glass factory in asansol . It can provide jobs to more than 1000 peoples and this can also be a part of developing asansol. Sir we respect you very much and we the youth of INDIA know that you will respond to this request. Thank you

Mobile handset's are costly. Their physical robustness is critical. Once dropped most handsets are useless and we waste thousand(s) rupees. I doubt if we have any standards / agency to monitor loss to citizens and nation as money is going out to MNC's pockets. Data security is another aspect should be certified at time of allowing such product launches.

Sir, We can do the online train reservation via mobile and through online . But this is applicable to normal and senior people only. This is not applicable to PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON as he has to stand in a line to get the reservation in PH Quota . As this (online train reservation via mobile and through online) should be open to PH Quota also . There should be a some reserved lower birth in all the compartment for the PH and seniors only . We can show the PH certificate while journey.

याबाबत जी मुक्त प्रमाणे (open standards) आपण जाहिर केली आहेत ती योग्यच आहेत. भर द्यावयास हवा तो अंमलबजावणीवर. देशभर प्रत्येक शासकीय कार्यालयात कर्मचाऱ्याच्या ग्रेडपे नुसार त्याला लक्ष्य नेमून दिले जाईल. ते त्याने साध्य करून दाखवावे. त्यासाठी त्याला त्यात्या विषयाचे गरजेवर आधारित प्रशिक्षण आधी दिले जाईल. उदा. शासकीय कार्यालयात तयार झालेली माहिती तयार झाल्यापासून पाच मिनीटात सर्वांस उपलब्ध करून देणे. (इंटरनेट म्हणजे माहितीच्या आंतरजालावर)

First of All There is a need to create a data base which consist a detail of every citizen by linking their Aadhar Card pan card DL Election card ration card and all other available ID cards in a single platform as we know that its very diffivult to disolve all and create one. but by integrating all the numbers in a single platform we can take a first step as to create a full fleshed data base of our all citizens in a single platform, as many of them dont have all types of cards but by this atl

Digitization can be very useful in transportation and supply chain sector. To minimize or completely eliminate the middle tier agents (dalaals) and related crimes. It will create a transperant system to keep track of the quantity/type of goods, track their location in realtime and build efficient diatribution system according to demand.

The policy is well defined on open API. However, to implement it effectively in the government organisations it is very much essential to give the employees a custom-made training. Also, they should be (by name) made responsible for achieving the short-term goals set for them. These goals shall be exactly the same across the country for each office and for each employee, and shall be commensurate with the grade pay of the employee. for example: Uploading of the data in real time. Goal=5 minutes
