In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

Dear PM, Please do something about corruption ; when we are going to any government work those people ask about money. Why we are giving money when they are doing those work nothing special.

maybe implement view only APIs first, for government notices, categorised by ministry, then start adding functionality one at a time

लचर प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था की मूल वजह हे की आज भी किसी भी विषय में स्नातक व्यक्ति क्लर्क से लेकर कलेक्टर तक की भर्ती के लिये आवेदन कर सकता हे जबकि हर कार्य के लिये अलग योग्यता निर्धारित करनी चाहिए. डिजिटल इंडिया को प्रशासको की नहीं बल्कि बेहतर प्रबंधको की आवश्यकता है जो इस बिगड़ चुकी व्यवस्था को सुधर सके.

Raspberry Pi can be used to teach rural people how to use computer and internet to get information. Lot more things can be done with this small device and its main advantage is cost effective it is and can be used in rural area and can avail facility to do hands on and be familiar with the things how computer works how internet works etc.

Dear Sir, We are thinking of Digital India ,Incredible India, the purpose of my posting today is to bring to your notice that Rajasthan government is said to be closing around 17000 schools,Odisha 195 school ,Maharasthra government deciding to close around 14000 schools. Why cant we set Raspberry Pi devices in rural area as thin client and help people to connect over internet ? Raspberry Pi device cost is not much hardly Rs.8000 for scientific kit. http://www.raspberrypi.org/

Dear Sir, I am new to site but trying my best to understand it. Sorry to say but its little bit difficult to understand. Well i think i am writing on wrong post too. But any way by time i will be habitual to it. Its similar to Facebook. so it will be better option. Most important we are connected directly with our respected PM. Its well going on at present. My things i would like to share but at once. Being a science teacher I like this method of connecting INDIA. Thank you.
