In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

I have one suggestion to improve our investigation system,we should include our mobile tracking system to solve criminal cases right from kidnapping cases,molestation,online frauds etc!in serious cases like kidnapping mobiles are the key factors used for money demands,but our poor tracking system makes simple things complicated as this tracking system is actually nonexistent...it would b great move to make our country technically capable of good tracking system!hope my request is taken seriously

Dear Prime minister, a lot of young people those are staying outside from their native place couldn't able to give their votes. So if we can have a online voting system and it can be linked to the online banking system so that it will be secure and helpful for those citizen to participate in our democracy. More over most of the people have online banking facilities those r staying outside from their state or region.

Give all Government employees and Gram Panchayats Email IDs like corporate sector to process all work... Which will help to make all processes speedy and trasperent...

sir my suggestion is that people use to throw garbage on the road while travelling either by public transport or even by their own vehicles so my suggestion is that it is made mandatory that all the vehicles must be having a fitted garbage boxes(but detachable) so that people should these garbage boxes rather than throwing it on road. And still we found no improvement than an appropriate law should be enacted to curb these bad habits of people of this country.

भारत सरकार को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए की कोई भी काम चाहे वो PPP मॉडल से किया जा रहा हो या फिर टेंडर प्रक्रिया से चाहे वो एक सड़क बनाना हो या फिर कुछ भी, उस काम की शुरुआत से लेकर समाप्ति तक उस पर नियत तरीकों से नजर रखी जाये. उस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए कुछ नियत मानक तय किये जाने चाहिए ताकि अगर वांछनीय कार्य नहीं पाया गया तो या तो उस कार्य को कर रही टीम को कुछ और वक़्त देके उसे तय मानकों के अनुरूप करने को कहा जाए अगर वह फिर भी उन मानकों पर खरा नहीं उतरता तो उसे कार्य मैं कोताही बरतने के लिए दण्डित किया जाये

The word "Open API" is scary to use especially in Govt Organizations.We should grade govt applications on security levels.IMHO high security app shouldn`t be using open API`s (apart from certified).Software as a service and SOA are two good areas to integrate wide variety of applications. If we follow open standards and if we use XML technologies,basically our apps will be compatible to integrate with any. It is very imp for indian govt to have it`s home grown platform and applications.

Sir, I have a basement office in B-87, Defence Colony, New Delhi, which has been rendered useless due to the apathy of Delhi Jal Board Officials. The main sewer line gets blocked every fortnight or so, resulting in my office getting flooded. I have made innumerable complaints to the DJB, including to the CEO, DJB, but no action has been taken till date. This is resulting is grave hardship to me. Kindly intervene to resolve the issue.
