In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

The Govt should create a "Crops Trading Platform" where the farmer can trade their crops at best rate or they can buy seeds , fertilizers ,pesticides or other household items. This is a digital version of "Krishi-Upaj-Mandi" .

Respected PMO, For Developments in Information and technology in india, the fundamental thing you have to do is to make BSNL profitable. It is a great company, who have the potency to make big profits. But the people who are at the head doesnt want it to be in profit, and also doesn't have knowledge, what a 10th class student in india knows about 3g. Please look into the plans of bsnl (broadband) Many logicless plans, Check plans of private broadbands, 2mb unlimited for rs 500,while bsnl cannot

The main problem in realizing the dream of digital India is lack of accessibility of digital technologies in rural areas. Due to poverty and illiteracy, people are not able to access digital things. My suggestion is to facilitate poor people, students digital gadgets and internet facility at optimum cost. Also primary school students should be given little bit knowledge about technologies.

Sir..... As per my view over Oper API... there must be proper formulation of Apps.. For Government site, policy should be to provide easy location of office. we are able to be in contact of office to any of my queries. Any new policy or change must be reflected on the site. And If any wish to meet particular personal then there must be provision of taking online appointment. Guide line related filling forms for PASSPORT, VOTER ID, ADHAR CARD must be displayed with example visually.

Govt/SC must have to make a system to stop usages of black money. They should make some kind of provision so that these people can't make black money in future.

Dear PM, Very very thanks to you for your this kind of digital initiation. But the BOTTOM NECK what I am facing while using this site on my mobile is it could me much better if you launch an Mobile application for this. . Please once think about my this Idea. It will increase the no.of connection as well as it insures the active participation of the user. Like giving them real time reminders and many other things.
