In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

Hello sir, this is saravanan from France, Really your schemes are good. like clean India and digital India. but do you think this is good enough to change the India by announcing schemes?. absolutely not. as a prime minister you should talk to people directly by radio or tv and explain the value of schemes. people should believe these schemes are for our country development, we are waiting here that one day our country will become super power under your rule.

Namaste, HMT, Tumkur(Karnataka) is planning to close, i suggest to continue with PPP to create Job & expand with manufacturing digital equipment like, Mobile, Tabs, Laptops & others to challenge with China products. Already Food Park is opened & also near to Bangalore. HMT is closed because of Higher Officials fraud, it is high loss to working peoples. To boost Digital & encourage youngsters its a best way to improve HMT with Digital World with MAKE IN INDIA project. Plz dont close HMT,

Mr Prime Minister,I would urge you to look at healthcare, not just basic healthcare but advanced healthcare and specifically at emergency medicine. Sadly we do not have a national uniform emergency number or a uniform ambulance service. This costs many lives, I am writing this as a friend of mine recently lost a young cousin who had been in a road accident. She died because the ambulance she travelled in was not equipped with even basic equipment, basically a van with ambulance written on it

Till how long we'll implement other country policies, does india youngters don't have their own idea? how can each and every citizen will take advantages of govt. schemes? by replacing too many cards by one such as election card, driving licence, aadhar card, pan card, ration card and there are many more... by developing such a database which include all information with a single identity of a person giving a name "national card" where a person can enjoy services like banking also of card above

Continue... This we help people at village level, also increase the number of computer according to the population. Course should include * basic use of computer * use of internet * use of govt. online services(e-billing, online reservation) * teaching them use of keyboard in "hindi language font" * teaching them how to know govt. schemes under govt. act * farmer improvement pro and many basic things. then move to next level i.e. API i'll really appreciate our loving PM if they take action on it

Open APIs at GOs should start from the most used come first basis. Study should be carried out across top 3 highly interactive GOs with public to first shortlist the top 20* parameters based on which the first set of APIs can be designed. These APIs should be easily be integrated across android, ios, web, sms, atms, kiosks and ussd gateways. This will be a good start to begin :) all the best!

As india is developing nation lets start from 0, first question arises in front of us is how digital we are till now? india has powerful IT background but still its we have computer knowledge literacy rate less than 7%, so before discussing topic on open application programming interface (API) we should make capable our indians to understand what actually it is. lets start from basic, make social program for providing 10 computers at each village of india and teach use of computer to peoples.
