This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

The idea should strive to maximize participation of citizens and other stake holders in governance through the use of effective and transparent Web based technologies. This in addition can be used to effectively move the work across govt. departments on the click of a mouse

Sir, in view of #Digital India; it is requested that all Government email ID which are published in various Citizen Charter and Advertisement should be 1- Made active 2- Should be access regularly. Most of the time i got bounce mail or mail quota notification while interacting to government bodies through email e.g. Post Master general, Khadi Boards etc.

Use of paper should be minimized, centre should keep a regular check on local bodies under state/district. Because at this level only the seeds of corruption and laziness are sown.

Yesterday i saw a article the PMO uses a comparatively speedy internet connection. While an average internet connection speed in India is 2Mbps, that of the PMO is 34Mbps, an RTI application has revealed. For Digital India merging people to high speed internet is 1st step on that regard Govt should ban out 2G network & make the cost of 3G network plus phones less, it should be like updates of android version which goes out of market after a specified time frame
