Kindly frame good Scheme for sports persons that should attract more citizens to take up sports as profession. Improve the sports felicity at district level. The present level of felicities are not at all sufficient.

What is the amount of pension given to these persons? Is it varying according to which medal you won in which event? I mean if someone wins a gold In Olympics then is he gets more pension than a Bronze medallist at any National event? Btw in my view this scheme should also be extended to include meritorious sportspersons of state level so that the youth will be inspired seeing the local heroes in turn above 50+ medal at Olympics dream will come true for sure.

OF COURSE, MERITOTIOUS SPORTSPERSONS SHOULD BE GIVEN MORE PENSION & THE GOVT. HAS TO ENSURE EMPLOYMENT TO THEM AS TRAINER or COACH or IN ADMIN ACTIVITIES ( this should be Govt's commitment-ie.guaranteed job after retirement from sports or should compensate substantially to start their own Sports Academy ).

NEXT THING AFTER SPORTSPERSON'S RETIREMENT IS, THE GOVT. CAN EMPLOY THEM AS 'TRAINER / COACH & SOME CAN EVEN BE CONSIDERED IN SPORTS ADMINISTRATION / ADMIN DEPTS. ALL SPORTSPERSONS (even if they have not won any medal-just their involvement & participation in sports is enough eligibility for pension ) TO BE COMPENSATED BY WAY OF PENSION

NWFfS, CAN GIVE FINANCIAL AID TO THOSE PERSONS (& to their families) BASED ON THEIR PARTICIPATION/ACTIVITY/PERFORMANCE, etc. OTHERWISE, THEY & THEIR FAMILIES WILL OPT FOR ACADEMIC FIELD. EVEN CONTINUOUS PARTICIPATION (by sacrificing their studies/Career/Life, if they should involve/excel in sports means, their families has to be well secured & compensated financially). ESPECIALLY, THESE SPORTS PERSONS CANNOT EXCEL AFTER THE AGE OF 35 OR SO. THEIR PERFORMANCE WILL DECLINE, WHEN AGE INCREASES.

the nation healthy. If people know that they will be taken care of financially more people will join sports. Sports people are as essential as millitary for over all development of the country. i strongly am in favour of pension scheme for sports people whether at the top or just good enough

dear sir/madam sports people are by and large innocent people who do not think much about their finances except for people who have managers or agents. In india very few sports personalities have agents. In their prime they do not think of financial gains nor of saving. Big companies do not employ them if they are not at the top. But these people bring lot of glory to the nation or the state, district or village. A active physical life helps in better minds so we need more sports people to keep
