I Think its a need of time for social security of a sportsman. After getting retired from the work, sportsman get a low level job like security officer etc which do not justify their hardwork for the nation.
We should secure their future so that they can show their real talent without worrying for the future.

why cant the sports associations be managed by retired sports persons? why politicians are running sports associations? why only cricket is given importance with little or no recognition to large number of indigenous sports? both pensions and welfare fund is good, but it should be for all sports, particularly indigenous and the selection should be transparent. after declaration of international yoga day, why government is not thinking about organising Yoga Olympics? these issues require answers

Design and market sports goods such as T-Shirts and caps for every sports team with great captions and sell those via popular online stores. Give tax waiver so that these are more affordable and more people buy these.Forward the profits to a high return government bond and re-invest. This will also improve the awareness of sports in India as more people walk on streets with these T-shirts.
