Sir, school curricula should involve as co- and extra curricular activities, a study of Indian art forms, visits to historic places, forts, sites of freedom struggle, homes of- & centers commemorating freedom fighters, museums, cross country student cultural exchange programs & competitions. The #ministryofCulture & #MHRD should hold art, essay, quiz, debate & photography competitions amongst schools & colleges, telecast them on DD & publish winning entries as e-books.

Sir, there is still a fascination with the west amongst our media and youth. Children should be exposed to the beauty of our rich national heritage from a young age, so as to learn to take pride in it.

Just like the companies do good work as part of the corporate social responsibility, I believe the onus should be on the media outlets to contribute a part of their daily show time\print page towards promoting #IndianCulture and #IndianHeritage. 90s was probably the golden time for television\media. #MinistryOfCulture should make best use of international platforms to showcase, as it will also help bring in more tourism opportunities. Just like China is showcased in EPCOT-Disney!#MyGov

You can saw them a girlchild hosting the ad or any other.

Likewise Govt. is coming up with a new Education policy, time has come for I&B & Cultural ministry to design some strict guidelines specially for 24x7 electronic media to assign some slots as a mandatory for special programs covering issues like Science & Technology, Innovations, Indian Scientists,Indian Army heroes like they do for Automotive, upcoming Gadgets and investment/real-estate/finance via dedicated slots specially on weekends.
