The mandate of the Ministry of Culture is to preserve, promote, explore and share India’s culture and heritage along with ethos and values for the benefit of mankind. For achieving this Mission, the Ministry undertakes the following activities:

• Maintenance and conservation of heritage, historic sites and ancient monuments
• Administration of libraries
• Promotion of literary, visual and performing arts
• Observation of centenaries and anniversaries of important national personalities and events
• Promotion of institutions and organizations of Buddhist and Tibetan studies
• Promotion of institutional and individual non-official initiatives in the fields of art and culture
• Entering into cultural agreements with foreign countries

The functional spectrum of the Ministry ranges from creating cultural awareness from the grass root level to the international cultural exchange level. Details about several Schemes which are administered by Ministry of Culture for providing financial assistance for promoting cultural activities are available on the Ministry’s website (http://indiaculture.nic.in/).

Also, various organizations under the Ministry of Culture organize cultural programs and events from time to time.

The Ministry has decided to invite suggestions from the public regarding innovative ideas for effective use of Media in promoting Indian Culture and Heritage.

It is requested that the individual suggestions may be limited to about 200 words.

I believe MR.Modi JI government should start an ecommerce platform for farmers and small shop owners at free of cost . It should also rope in Railways and transportation sector for all the transportation required for the farmers . Charge them for transportationafter the money is paid by delivery. Use the postal department also for delivery of the goods required. By this way the farmers will be very happy. E Commerce will help in unearthing the most illegal segment of middle man.

All important government notifications should be sent by either SMS or Email to all citizens. One should be given an option to choose or select the sectors which he/she prefers to receive these messages

The brilliant ideas of youngsters can be made into a short film in conserving and protecting our culture. One such example of mine is a mother forgets to teach her daughter to pray and go to their place of worship. Slowly, because of her mother's mistake, she forgets the culture of India, leading to the disbelief in god, ancestor worship etc. This shows the role of media in communicating the need to protect our monuments, culture, and customs.

Sir I suggest that many monuments, religious places in India should be protected by the Archeological Survey of India. People paint the statues so that they are bright and modern. But, they are the only ways to know about Olden India. So, by protecting monuments and religious places, we are protecting olden and golden India.

In continuation to my previous post where I mentioned Sri- Elimination of waste. Let us look at water. We can work on recycling water, waste water reuse, and recharging thru' rainwater harvesting. There are seven types of waste again...Plenty of savings to the national exchequer if implemented collectively !!! Sathya- Truth- Fixed - Systematic Arrangement helps in productivity and eliminating duplication of purchases, time lost in searching. Indian Culture with Scientific Basis.

Useful cultural aspects, largely symbolic can be interpreted to reveal the inner meaning. When we perform Sri Sathya Sai / Narayan Puja...benefits are well being and prosperity. Interpretation can be Sri - sustainer of wealth viz, removal of unnecessary things, wastage elimination, Sathya - Truth viz fixed, so when we fix an item, location & qty, it leads to systematic arrangement, Sai/Vishnu - Cleanliness is next to Godliness, eliminate defect rootcause. 3S - workplace excellence

We should make available an app that links directly to the books and articles on our culture and heritage. This link should be an authentic and secure so no one can tamper this. The books and articles on this link can be made free of cost along the lines of gutenberg project, where all classics and various books are made available online totally free of cost.
