The best way to preserve, promote and explore Indian culture is to embrace it ourselves. Instead of inviting MNC's from outside India, promote the Indian small, medium and large scale industries. The country will only develop when the people of India develop.

My suggestion is to use Travel Buses between two cities. Example; A Bus between Delhi and Pathankot can use Audio/ Videos to make travelers aware with all the places between Delhi and Pathankot during their journey. It'll not only make their Journey interesting but also informative. They will know almost everything about the place/s they are going to visit. If get success Tourist Board of related division can arrange A/V Devices in front of their seats so that only who like could use it.

One of the biggest threat in today's life is pollution. Pollution is high on its wheel as because most of the people travel for their work. Why not gov/private open a network hub which can connect various offices/companies at every where in city so that people can go and log into company web to work minimizing their travel especially when physical presence is not required. We save petrol, time , health, and mainly pollution. people can live in their own place improving productivity and health.

I visited some of the village folks during pongal festival at Alanganallur, TN, the innocent people asked me one thing why the AWBI and PETA are against our culture, are they not aware that we celebrate the bulls with our culture and tradition as GOD?!. I do realize and you too may be; their demands are not beyond your reach. Please keep them happy by allowing them to conduct their cultural events TN and India. please lift the names of bulls from wild and include it as domesticated animal.

I just seen Today morning a group of women walking on road side to factory work at Bommanalli, Bangalore. They all are wearing saris, which is absolutely Indian culture. They are all lower average employees, all are walking to work about 2-3 kilometers. They must get identified and promoted as India's Culture. On the other hand, I have seen some of the software ladies are wearing Jeans and T shirts, also smoking, this must put on the negative side. Farming women also must give respect.

1. Have a single repository of information about various culture/heritage info online maintained by Centre
2. Make the states do the same by incentivizing them in more detail about regional culture
3. Engage with bloggers/Tweeple to create and promote content
4. Create awareness campaign and competition among school children in India and selected countries
5. Use humor/their language to catch the youth (such as creating cool taglines around Indian music, great books, saints, festivals etc

Dear sir
Good Evening
Can we ask each of our foreign embassies to promote one Indian state per week, the promotion should be from all possible media options in that specific country, like news paper, magazine, TV ads running every hour during prime time, cultural event, hoardings, banners, social media etc, the idea is to capture the time and minds of the world…goodwill & money will flow automatically.from pavithra
