Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

in bathinda ..petrol to sasta ho gya par aaj 02-09-2015.....in petrol pump walo ne yahan bathida to barnala road par kisi ko petrol nahi diya..... keh rehe hai petrol hai nahi.... or jb petrol ke daam bad jate hai to ... raat ko hi daam bda kr petrol suru kr denge... humra pm kosis kr rahey hai...or ye log b poori kosis kr rahe hai .....waat lga do sbki...

Dear All, I would like to share some info regarding D1 Mohan project/initiative taken by Dr. Kalam. As per this project, Jatropha carcus which contains 40% oil in its seeds can be used as bio diesel in India. Agricultural land is not mandatory for plantation of this plant. India's 300,000 sqkm waste land can be used. Cannot mention more details due to word restrictions. Kindly search for 'biofuel in India' for more info. Thanks, Umesh

North East is deprived of many infrastructural facility..I hope Oil Industry may take a lead role in augmenting local communities/state government's strength by taking up relevant CSR projects...supported with effective implementation team.

to conserve petroleum & reduce pollution caused by letting out petrol vapours in atmosphere during transferring/ filling/ decanting petrol to & from tanker. By proper engineering the equalisation piping, lot of petrol can be saved. S.BANSAL -- MOB --9920748844

We can save enormous gasoline if we work seriously to save petrol during transferring, for example letting out the petroleum vapour while a)Filling a tanker at refinery where lot of petrol is lost in out going vapours b) decanting the tanker into underground tank at petrol station where again lot of petrol is lost in out going vapours c) while filling into cars, lot of petroleum vapours go out. If some arrangement of pressurised tankers or an equalisation pipe is fitted from tanker & tank.

Sir.. is bar man ki baat me aap logo se appeal kejiye ki weak me 1 din Bike ya car ka use naa karen. acycle chalaye ya paidal chalen. fir use social media me upload bhi karen. paidal chalne ya cycle chalane se motape ke tamar rog bhi door ho jayenge aur desh par import ka kharcha bhi kam hogaa. please aisa kariye

मुझे मेरा देश प्यारा है और मैं देश को जीवित रहते हुए एक विकसित देश के रूप मैं देखना चाहता हूँ ! आज हम जब सड़क पर निकलते है तो क्या देखते है हम देखते है आर्थिक समस्याएं आज के जीवन मैं आर्थिक प्रदुषण बढ़ गया है जिस कारण मैं समझता हूँ लोगो का ध्यान देश के लिए विकास के बारे मैं सोचने के बजाए अपनी रोजी रोटी के बारे मैं ज्यादा चिंतित दिखाई पड़ते है जिस कारण लोगो मैं राष्ट्रीयकरण की कम होती दिखाई पड़ती है ! ऐसा तभी होता है जब हमारा देश किसी विपत्ति मैं घिरा होता है यदि ये भावना हमेशा बानी रहे तो मैं यकीन
