Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

I wonder as to why AADHAAR CARD got prepared at one city, can't be accepted as ID proof all-over country for releasing LPG connection? The Hon'ble while launching JAN DHAN YOJANA had directed that AADHAAR CARD would be accepted as ID PROOF WITH SELF-CERTIFICATION REGARDING LOCAL ADDRESS. I SUGGEST THAT SAME YARD-STICK SHOULD BE ADOPTED FOR RELEASING NEW LPG CONNECTION. THE OIL COMPANIES SHD BE DIRECTED TO ISSUE GUIDELINES TO THEIR DEALERS THROUGH OUT THE COUNTRY IN THIS REGARD.

Dear PM, I would like to suggest you that Operator companies can start skill development program for local communities and free education initiatives for poor people. It would definitely reconnect the thread between local communities and operators. E&P companies can also organize cultural programs for family of employees. IT will develop a sense of belonging in employees and their family members. If operator companies try they can contribute in empowering people and increased profits for them.

Dear PM... there are alternative ways to produce Diesel. I have already sent the detailed papers to PMO in Sept'2014. I don't the know the position of them. If you are reading this message please try for those papers. European countries are working out the alternative ways to produce Diesel and Electricity.

Dear PM, Just sharing an idea which already exists but the applications that would need to be made functional and fully operational. Biogas has been used as a source of fuel in the rural areas as a cooking fuel for ages now. Can we think of mass producing the Biogas and use it as an alternate source of fuel in the transportaion sector? I.E., if we had Biogas instead of LPG/Petrol/Diesel as engine fuel this can reduce the transportation cost as it will be a cheaper alternative. Thanks.

Sir, I would like to contribute some points in petroleum sector . it is a very specialized, trained man power jobs ,so that our resources will may sustain for the longer period therefore, we need tailented & trained man power in E &P Sector. Most of the reserves are under production and some has became to mature stage , these kind of areas need to be careful exploration in all sector. Team work with multidisplinary will definitly improve. in the meanwhile , searching for news areas,

All Public Sector Units in India need to held responsible and profit making! Private-Public Participation to be encouraged! A Government job should be seen as an easy job and secure job! Labour laws, reservation laws and all these delicate areas need to be corrected! Its time India moves forward!
