Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

SIR, why cant we include petroleum to public distribution system ? a limited amount of petrol has to given to all private individuals , if they want more than fixed limit they have to pay huge ...... (special regulation needed for industries )

Yes, it is the most important topic that we have to think about the equal share of wealth ( Oil & Gas) in between Central and State Government but it is also imortant to observed and ensure that whether the distribution of benefits comes from such assets are equally distruted or not to each and every section of the society and community of the region in order to develop our country, becasuse in recent time Competitive, Comunal and Regional Politics are growing in the NE Region may create diff..

all residents of NE states must have ownership and share in the natural wealth of their states. But an important question for so called secularist (anti-hindu) parties -- every indian, including those residing in NE states have a right to choose their religion, but why after conversion to christianity, separatist (with support from international church) demand freedom from india? Is India a hindu theocratic state? what is basis for kashmir separatists except that it is muslim majority?

In Assam, the development is not being done in harmony with environment.proper planning and balancing resources and giving people there a good environment with sustainable development is needed. Trees are being cut in assam and other states recklessly, because of it oil erosion is taking place. no proper planning by authorities.

Why not we use solar busses for govt transport coorperation we can save fuel and we can reduce the unemployment of the engineers in the country by making them to do research on solar busses

ENI has not started commercial production of Gas in Andaman Offshore Region on flimsy grounds like non availability of deep water rig & environmental issues.unfortunately India is loosing billions of dollars in importing Gas from abroad for last 10 years.Hon'Prime Minister is requesting the affluent gas consumers to forgo their subsidy on Gas Cylinders.Probably,the gas exporters of abroad are bribing ENI to deliberately delay the commercial production of gas from Andaman.Biggest Ever Scam
