Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Dear respected PM,my sincere request/suggestion is fix a limit for consumption of petrol/diesel for a vehicle in an one month.for example limit 50 litres petrol for a bike for the month, petrol bunks collect d money as subsidised petrol rate from the vehicle ownr.if that vehicle crosses d limit of 50 litres consumption within a month aftr that bunks collect the money at d rate of nonsubsidised petrol rate.from this rule we can contol the consumption of diesel/ petrol for unnessasory uses.

Respected PM, I think you are NOT aware of the Price Hikes in Petrol/ Diesel during last month otherwise it wouldn't happen. People of India have great Expectations from you. And your Government's such decision doubts Your ability. If petroleum products are really very costly due to international market, CAN'T THE GOVT REDUCE TAXES ON PETROLEUM PRODUCTS TO GIVE RELIEF TO COMMON PEOPLE? This is very common sense, the Govt FAILS to apply this common sense but I HOPE YOU WILL DO NEEDFUL.
