Under UJALA scheme, the main objective is to promote efficient lighting, enhance awareness on using efficient equipment which reduces electricity bills and helps preserve the environment. Efficient light bulbs, like LEDs, consume only one-tenth of the energy used by ordinary bulbs to provide the same or better light output. So, we ask you to suggest ways for promoting the use of LEDs on this open discussion forum.

*****************************************Make manufacture of LED bulb tax free, transportation tax free and sale tax free. Also tax exemption of raw material for LED Manufacture. These taxes to be transfer to other form light manufacturers as double taxation for normal bulb, tubelight or mercury bulb etc. *****as Goverment forces only LED manufacture and import india, within two years all the bulb to be replaced by LED ********

Yeah..! It's a good idea. But it should be followed in all the state's. Then only there will be some use in that..! When we create an awareness among the people this is possible at the earliest it also reduce the economic cost for the electricity.. Instead making add films for the products where there is no use..so if make an good add for this it will reach as quickly.

I have an idea how to fasten the use of led bulbs . Now the electricity department should ask for each floor in a building to tell the number of bulbs and tube lights used in the house .house with specific salary should be given one led bulb or led tube light every month by the electricity bill distributors and the cost of the bulb or tube should be added in there bill . Once all the lights are changed to led on that floor then no more extra charging in the electricity bill.rate of led bulb60rs

There should be a photo on all department records like pan card , ITR , TIN , TAN , VOTER ID, PDS and so on. While verifying only the data's are coming not the photos. One family i.e., parents and two kids had committed suicide due to the mal-practice of using other persons TIN and ITR to take loan. Bankers are verifying the data without the Photo id of them in IT deparment and others too so . there should be photo visible in all the data's which the govt records.
