Under UJALA scheme, the main objective is to promote efficient lighting, enhance awareness on using efficient equipment which reduces electricity bills and helps preserve the environment. Efficient light bulbs, like LEDs, consume only one-tenth of the energy used by ordinary bulbs to provide the same or better light output. So, we ask you to suggest ways for promoting the use of LEDs on this open discussion forum.

हर बिजली बिल पर दो या चार LED बल्ब अनिवार्य करके और इसका चार्ज बिल में ही जुड़ कर आये

Sir In my opinion, ask vidya balan to do an add or advertisement demonstrating the benefits of LED like swach bharat. Her swach bharat add is simple and powerful.

firstly rule create that whose person use led bulb continue 1 year and light bill averaging all month same then he got 1 month or 15 days bill or 5 to 10 units free from MPEB.

Nukkad plays may one of the option to take the benefits to public in small citifies where the penetration is limited and also the need is very high.

in real terms the awareness is not there in TN. spread the awareness by highlighting the economic benefits also the how good it is for environment thru social media, TV also inform the common people to whom they should approach to get the LED bulbs in subsidy rates in their locality.

सर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र मे LED LIGHT कोई खास मागं नहीं है। ..वजह है इस की कीमत लोग सुनते ही 10 रू. बाला बब्ल लेते है.एक उपाय ये है एक LED लेने पर दुसरी LED की कीमत आधी हो.
